Summary
Care for Newcomers supports immigrants and refugees in Central Alberta by helping them settle, integrate, and feel welcomed in their new community. Volunteers are an important part of this work and help create inclusive spaces where newcomers can connect, learn, and build confidence. Opportunities include companionship matches, interpretation and translation, public awareness work, group support through language and youth activities, work experience support, general volunteering, and volunteer board membership.
